Extremely obvious this was written in another language and just dumped into an online translator.Really needed to be proofread by an English speaker but giving it a 2nd star just because the results are so amusing.
Highlights include: Angostura sharp flavoring instead of bitters, shining water not sparkling, arranged horseradish instead of prepared, overwhelming cream which I'm guessing should be heavy cream, generally useful flour which I think I'm using from now on because it's priceless, and my favourites.... ice shapes, blocks, & 3D squares all showed up but never ice cubes!

Why are there food recipes in this book?
Really enjoyed this book!! My girlfriends and I tried a few of them on our girls night in! Very tasty and fun!!!
This book is filled with great cocktail & appetizer recipes. They all sound good so I don't know where to start so I think I'll just start at the beginning & work my way back.
What a great book with enough fantastic recipes to keep any party going for days or to make any special event very special indeed. You've got to read this book and try it out.
This book reads like it was written in a different language and then a computer translator was used to convert it to English. Simple syrup is "straightforward syrup". Heavy cream is "overwhelming cream". lol. Seriously, it's like they got the guys who write the phony Nigerian email scams to write this. If you can get through the idiotic phrasing the recipes are only ok, not great.
I was never fond of cocktails, but now I see that I obviously tried the wrong ones.
This book offers 50 delicious cocktails. I didn't tried them all, but the ones I did were great. There is lot of variety and the recipes are simple so a beginner can easily make most of those. You will need some equipment, like a shaker, but other than that it is a great book for throwing a party at home and wowing your guest.
This book is now my new favorite book on mixing drinks. There is one thing and one thing only that makes it so much better than other books I have read on this subject. That is that it includes pictures that really help you see what the drink is supposed to look like. I can't tell you how many times I have made a mixed drink and then it doesn't seem quite right. By having a fancy picture of what I can expect I know whether I succeeded or failed. This book is a must have resource if you are mixing drinks yourself!
