The Laughter of Love Her Unforgettable Laugh Book 3 (Audible Audio Edition) Linda Thompson Nancy Peterson Books
This story has too many villains and too much killing off of those deemed disagreeable. I find the transference of all the Bennett family's perceived defects to Mrs Bennett and near exoneration of Mr Bennett insulting. This characterization iignores the affect Mr Bennett's lack of efforts to comfort or care for his wife's fear of poverty. He alone had the responsibility for the care of his wife and children. Instead of saving and investing in his family's future, he preferred laughing at and making fun of them.As if there was not enough going on, an unbalanced Lady and Viscount are added along with characterizing Wickham, Miss Bingley, and Mrs Bennett delusional if not actually insane. This story could have been so much better. Along with the odd characterizations there are numerous grammatical errors, extra words, and the incorrect form of words. Then there is the spelling of Bingley's Aunt Horatia or is it Aunt Honoria. Is editing beyond the knowledge of fan fiction writers. If so, please try spell check and grammar check.

The Laughter of Love Her Unforgettable Laugh Book 3 (Audible Audio Edition) Linda Thompson Nancy Peterson Books Reviews
This third book of trilogy continued the story brilliantly. My only complaint is I found Darcy and Elizabeth's relationship just "too" sweet. Also, Georgianna barely gets a mention.
I truly liked this series, the love was strong, the baddies were...bad. It was a bumpy journey, with a HEA. My only fault was editing, every book I have read lately has simple spelling mistakes, where are your beta readers, if they are around, sack them. In this day and age with all the wonderful technology there is just no excuse.
This review is for the whole series. I enjoyed the series, what I liked about it was each book focus on certain aspects of Elizabeth and Darcy's relationship. Book one deal with meeting and courting, book two is the engagement and life in London. The final book is the marriage. Each books has it own angst, kidnapping, shootings, revenge and heartbreak. You can see the development of the characters thorght out the series, some you will loved and feel their pain, while other you will hate.
I highly recommend this series.
The stories, the new characters, the new plot lines, were all very good. However hiring a basic proofreader would have been worth the effort. For example if one is going to oversee something as in watch out for it or supervise it it should be spelled OVERSEE . Instead it was spelled OVERSEA. This type of error is sprinkled throughout the story making the pleasure of reading it much less.
I enjoyed this series, but I found overall that there were a lot of silly mistakes (heal instead of heel, on instead of one, some minor grammatical mistakes and one place where the author writes "I believe...") and far too much minute description of trivial details. The storyline, however, was clever, even if the author did kill off many of the antagonists and frequently used 10 words where 4 would have done the job. I believe the author had a vision she wanted to convey, but unfortunately the story became mired in the minutiae of places and dresses and insignificant actions.
There are one or two prior books in this storyline. It is a good idea, though not essential to read them in order.
This one starts soon before Lizzy and Jane's joint wedding.
Mrs Bennett is completely reprehensible in this version. Mr Bennett finally takes charge and stays firm.
There are several new characters, mostly London friends that add the story. Each character is given a chance for self improvement and many do, though not the usual villains.
Very well written with well developed characters.
The last book gives us so much excitement. Mrs Bennett is an unrepentant shrew who even turns on Lydia. Her ending is predictable actually. Mr Bennett managed to turn Kitty and Lydia into decent, upstanding women who take after their older sisters instead of their mother.
Mary, who is so often ignored gets her happiness. But the most excitement comes from the meetings with Lady Margery and Caroline. I simply love when her dastardly plans fail. Caroline is the one person who you really hate but cheer her on in her delusions. Its obvious she is delusional because she continued to scheme even after the Darcy's are married and have children. I absolutely loved these three books !
